 your  eye   health

Our Doctors are licensed and therapeutically trained to provide eye health exams, contact lens evaluations, vision test, detecting eye abnormalities and prescribing medications for certain eye diseases and conditions.

Age and risk factors affect vision over time for both young and old.  Annual eye exams are vital to maintaining your vision and overall health because many eye problems can develop without you even noticing any changes in your sight.  If detected at an early stage, these problems can be treated successfully without total loss of vision. Earlier and more precise diagnosis means earlier treatment and better outcomes for diseases like glaucoma, macular degeneration and cataracts.
Dr. Baptiste is certified by the Texas Optometry Board as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialists!
One of the challenges that each of us face are many eye diseases and conditions do not exhibit obvious symptoms.  That’s why one part of our comprehensive eye exam is assessing your eyes with cutting-edge Digital Retinal Imaging.  Digital Retinal Imaging photographs the back of your eyes which can reveal eye diseases in their earliest stages.  This same tool can show how other health problems like diabetes and high blood pressure are affecting your eye health. If you have diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or blood disorders such as anemia or sickle cell we recommend annual eye examinations to monitor for complications.  Assessing, correcting and in some cases restoring your good vision is our goal.
